NOUN CLAUSE

 Adalah klausa kata benda yang dapat digunakan sebagai subjek atau objek dalam sebuah kalimat  sama dengan posisi yang bisa  ditempati oleh sebuah kata benda.

Example :

 ª   What he said was interesting

          I heard what he said

 š   Noun Clause dari sebuah pertanyaan yang menggunkan kata tanya

 ª   Where does she live?

o   I wonder where she lives

o   Where she lives is a mistery

 š   Noun clause dari sebuah pertanyaan yes/no

 ª   Will he come ?

o   I don’t know whether he will come or not

o   I don’t know whether (or not) he will come

o   I don’t know if he will come (or not)

 š   Noun Clause dari sebuah pertanyaan (statement)

 ª   The world is round ?

o   We know that the world is round

o   That the world is round is a fact

o   It is a fact that the world is raound
